Trustees & Meeting Dates

The Board of Trustees of the Springfield Free Public Library will meet in regular public meetings, at which the public may attend and participate, on the following dates in 2026. All meetings will be held at the Springfield Free Public Library, 66 Mountain Avenue, Springfield, New Jersey, at 7:00 p.m. Said meetings will be held on the following Thursdays, unless otherwise noted.

TAKE NOTICE that, pursuant to the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq., adequate advance notice of these meetings has been provided by posting notice on the New Jersey Department of State Legal Notices website (https://www.nj.gov/state/statewide-legal-notices-list.shtml) and by transmitting the same notice to the Township of Springfield website and The Local Source.

Note:  

A Special Meeting of the Library Board of Trustees will be held via Zoom on Monday, May 4, 2026, at 7:30 pm, solely to discuss Personnel Matters. Attendance at this meeting is open to all members of the general public.
