Robotics: Fun with Arduinos
Saturday, December 07, 2019, 02:45pm - 04:15pm

Update 10/18/19: All 10 spots booked!

"Fun with Arduinos" is a robotics program for girls and boys between 4th and 8th grade. The program will run for four Saturdays: Nov 23, Dec 7, 14 & 21 from 2:45pm to 4:15pm. Participants should make every effort to commit to all 4 sessions.

Students will learn how to use electronics in conjunction with programming in order to engineer amazing things! Arduinos (mini-computers), wires, buzzers, LEDs, and OLED displays will be used for interactive projects and exercises (such as making traffic lights or doorbells) to teach the fundamental concepts of coding and electronics. The program will culminate in a final project that uniquely demonstrates each student’s expertise with the Arduino.

Space is limited to 10 participants. Registration is required with Teen Librarian Ms. Alice. Please see her in-person at the library or call her at 973-376-4930 ext. 233.
