Assignments | Help us help you!
Let us know about current or upcoming class assignments by calling: 973-376-4930
x232 or x233. We will put up a display of age and subject appropriate books
parents and children can select from for your assignment. Everybody goes home
happy!
Book Requests | Save yourself time...let us do the work!
Do you need books on a particular topic for your class? We will find and pull batches of books for you to come and pick up from the front desk of the library. Call us at: 973-376-4930 x232 or x233
Booktalks in your class | Get kids glued to books...
Would you like us to booktalk books to your class? We can accommodate whatever age and whatever topic you or the class chooses. The librarian will bring a cart load of books and describe just enough of each book to make kids want to grab them (gently) and read! Children can check books out directly, as long as they have library cards. Call 973-376-4930 x232 or email youth@springfieldpubliclibrary.com
Class Tours @ The Library | Kids get library cards!
Have the kids in your class visit Springfield Public Library for a fun, informative tour. Our tours are about half an hour long, and can be customized according to your class's needs. Please call or email to schedule a visit.
Storytelling @ The Library (or classroom) | Listen and learn through stories...
We welcome the opportunity to tell stories to children of all ages, at your classroom or at the library. For whatever purpose -- curriculum tie-ins, holiday stories, or for just plain old fun, call 973-376-4930 x232 or email youth@springfieldpubliclibrary.com
