INCOME TAX ASSISTANCE

Free Tax Assistance for the elderly is available during tax season. Assistance is available Tuesdays 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. from mid-February through April 15 by appointment. To make an appointment, please call the circulation desk at (973) 376-4930 ext. 221. 

This free service is provided by trained volunteers under the VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) and TCE (Tax Counseling for the Elderly) programs.
