Parental Rights and Special Education Law

This program is sponsored by the non-profit organization Volunteer Lawyers for Justice, a group that provides educational resources to parents as well as legal services to those in need.

Special education attorney Greer Gurland, author of How to Advocate Successfully for Your Child: What Every Parent Should Know About Special Education Law, will be the presenter. As the parent of five children with special needs, Ms. Gurland understands from both a personal and a legal perspective, the challenges faced by parents of children with special needs. She is a graduate of Harvard College and Harvard Law School.
