- Click on "My Account" link on the left menu frame
- Type in your library card number (borrower ID)
- Type PIN
- Log in
- “Account overview” screen appears
- Click on “items out” to view all materials out and to renew.
- Click on “reserves” to see books you have requested.
- Click on “messages” to read communication from library staff.
- Click on “profile” to see if your personal information is correct
- Be sure to click “Logout” at the top right-hand side of the screen when finished.

- Click box adjacent to the item(s) you wish to renew
- Click “renew”
- Click “logout” at top of screen

- Type in your library card number (borrower ID)
- Type PIN
- Log in
- “Account overview” screen appears
- Click on “reserves” to see books you have requested.
- Click on "Search for a Book" link in menu bar above picture
- Insert the title you want to reserve (example: “Paranoia”)
- The search results will be displayed
- Click on the title of the item you wish to reserve
- At the next screen, click on “reserve first available copy”
- The log-in screen will appear
- Type your library card number (borrower ID)
- Type PIN
- Log in
- Click on “request”
- Click on “return to searching” or “Logout and Return”

- Can I ask a reference question online?
There are 2 ways to do this:
- You can send an email to the library's reference staff at questions@sfplnj.org or use our online form at Contact Us
- You can use QandANJ, New Jersey's 24/7 online reference resources staffed by real librarians. Look for the icon on our homepage
