Kids & Teens

Library resources and services for children and teens are mostly housed in the Youth Services room.

Librarians Mrs. Sandford and Ms. Pecoraro organize a variety of activities and displays, usually around themes, that serve to highlight the library's collections. For this month's calendar of activities, click here.

There are a number of different collections available for younger readers including the Picture Book collection, a Fairy Tale collection and Easy Readers.

Older readers will enjoy the Biography collection along with non-fiction, reference, audiocassettes and reference resources, useful for homework assignments.

Teens have a beautiful space, the Ruth and Paul Weisman Room, that is often used for after-school study. In addition, there is a fiction collection specifically chosen to appeal to the young adult population.

In addition to books, there are DVD collections for children and young adults as well as a new collection of Playaways which are pre-loaded audio players.
