The library has a wide variety of programs available for patrons. There are regular programs such as monthly movie series and books groups as well as special events including lectures, demonstrations, concerts and events related to museum exhibits. For a full listing of events, consult the calendar. Clicking on a specific color-coded type will display a calendar with specific events in that area.

Here are some of the services we offer to our patrons:

• free tax advice for seniors during tax season
• MURAL borrowing (it allows Springfield cardholders to withdraw books from most libraries in either Middlesex or Union counties)
• notary, fax, copiers, a typewriter and Microsoft Office on all Internet computers
