Summer International Film: Things to Come

The Summer International Film Festival continues on Thursday, August 1 with a screening ofThings to Come (2016) at 1:00 and 7:00 p.m. 102 minutes. Rated PG-13.

This film received 23 nominations and won 8 awards. A philosophy teacher is confronted with the death of her mother, getting fired from her job and dealing with a husband who is cheating on her. She must reinvent her life. Directed by Mia Hansen-Love. Starring Isabelle Huppert, Andre Marcon and Roman Kolinka. In French and German with English subtitles. The festival will continue every Thursday afternoon and evening through August 15th.

Funding for the film program has been made possible by the NJ State Council on the Arts, Department of State, a partner agency of the National Endowment for the Arts, through a grant administered by the Union County Office of Cultural and Heritage Affairs. Additional funding is also provided by the Friends of the Springfield Free Public Library.
