As part of the Springfield Free Public Library’s ongoing celebration of its 50th anniversary at its present location, the library will host a screening of On Her Majesty’s Secret Service at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, April 17. Released in 1969 and based on Ian Fleming’s bestselling novel of the same name, this film is the only one in the series that featured actor George Lazenby as James Bond. Other notable cast members include Telly Savalas and Diana Rigg who has become known to a new generation of viewers through her appearances as Olenna Tyrell in television’s Game of Thrones.
