Children’s Saturday Book Club!

The Springfield Free Public Library has a new (fun) Book Club!

The Thinking Readers’ Book Club meets the first Saturday of each month, October through June @ 3:45-4:30 p.m.

Snacks and drinks are provided.

The Thinking Readers’ Book Club is an independent book club in which students ages 8-10 in grades 3, 4 and 5, choose the titles they wish to read and discuss. Parents are welcome to attend. The club is moderated by Mrs. Wendy Jones.

The selection for February 2nd is Cockroach Cooties by Laurence Yep.

Stop by the Youth Services Desk at the Springfield Free Public Library to request a copy of Cockroach Cooties to be read by February 2nd, and think about two questions to share with The Thinking Readers Book Club!
